How can I take a screenshot with my smartphone or tablet?

Here is how to take screenshots on several device :

  • iPhone: Press simultaneously the button Home and Lock screen on the top of the phone. Confirmation: this combination will do a flash and the sound of a picture.
  • iPad: Press simultaneously the button Home and Lock screen on the top of the phone. Confirmation: this combination will do a flash and the sound of a picture.
  • Galaxy Ace: Press the Return button and, while pressing it, press the main button. Confirmation: the phone will vibrate and display a message indicating you have done a screenshot.
  • Galaxy Trend: Press simultaneously on the main button and Start/Stop, then maintain for 1 second. Confirmation: the phone will vibrate, show the screenshot and display a message.
  • Google Nexus: Press simultaneously the buttons Start/Stop and Volume -, then maintain for one second. Confirmation: the phone will vibrate and display a message.
  • Samsung Galaxy S2: Press simultaneously the main button and Start/Stop, then maintain for one second. Confirmation: the phone will vibrate, show the screenshot and display a message.

You can also do a search on the Internet with the name of the device and “take a screenshot”.
